Privacy Policy

Effective July 15, 2026

Overview

This policy explains how 140IQ collects, uses, shares, and retains information when you use 140iq.com. We do not sell personal data.

Information we collect

  • Account information: email address, nickname, authentication identifiers, and profile information supplied by an identity provider when you use social login.
  • Game activity: completed play counts, game and difficulty, scores, completion times, and game-specific result statistics. Public leaderboards show your nickname and qualifying Pro scores, not your email address.
  • Subscription information: Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and subscription status. Stripe processes payment-card details; 140IQ does not store complete card numbers.
  • Security information: session cookies and limited request data used for authentication, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting. Registration rate limits use a one-way hash derived from the requesting IP address.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, operate games and daily limits, save Pro scores, publish leaderboards, process subscriptions, moderate public nicknames, provide support, prevent abuse, and maintain and improve the service.

Service providers

We share only the information needed to operate the service with vendors acting on our behalf, including Supabase for authentication and database services, Stripe for billing, and OpenAI for automated nickname moderation. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy commitments.

Cookies

140IQ uses essential cookies to keep you signed in, refresh your session, and protect account-only pages. The service does not currently use third-party advertising cookies.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and game information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Short-lived rate-limit records are removed after they are no longer needed. To request account access, correction, or deletion, contact us at support@140iq.com. Some records may be retained where required by law.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections, restricted server credentials, and other reasonable safeguards. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Children

140IQ is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should contact us.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the revised effective date here. Questions can be sent through our contact page or to support@140iq.com.
